Automation Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps Automation

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team and lead the development of automation solutions for hybrid cloud infrastructure. You’ll leverage your expertise in DevOps and cloud automation to design efficient, scalable, and secure workflows across both on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation workflows for VM image management, configuration, and deployment in hybrid cloud environments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC solutions.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines, focusing on GitHub Actions, to ensure reliable deployment, monitoring, and notifications across hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain configuration management best practices, ensuring consistency and efficiency across on-premises and cloud deployments.
• Develop and manage infrastructure and application provisioning workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, prioritizing scalability, security, and resource efficiency.
• Write and maintain automation scripts, with a focus on secure deployment practices and system hardening.
• Utilize web automation tools like Playwright to enhance testing and deployment processes across hybrid cloud environments.
• Implement and manage secure secret management solutions within automation workflows to uphold compliance and security standards.
• Document automation processes in detail, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and support team members with guidance on automation and hybrid cloud best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation engineering, with significant exposure to hybrid cloud environments, including on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions, with a strong understanding of CI/CD processes and experience across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation and systems integration.
• Hands-on experience with web automation tools like Playwright to streamline testing and deployment workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to design and optimize automation workflows for hybrid cloud environments, addressing security, scalability, and interoperability challenges.
